Motion Guide: How to survive in first-person shooter multiplayer

Hello guys, back with me in today’s guide, tips, and tricks.
Today’s topic is about first-person shooting game. Games like Counter Strike, Team Fortress, Battlefield, Call of Duty, Point Blank, etc, have ways to survive both in singleplayer and multiplayer mode. But in today’s post, I would like to emphasize in multiplayer first-person shooting game.
How to survive in FPS
Note: This guide is actually from my experience playing first-person shooting game such as Counter Strike, Battlefield, and Call of Duty.

1. Teamwork for God sake
teamwork1This first point is very important. Why? Because you are playing with other players! Don’t try to be a Rambo (eventhough you are a pro in one-man-army) because it’ll either waste your K/D and lose the game or you will lose the fun in multiplayer mode. You might think that you are having fun with playing alone, but think about the others, think how the developers have created such gameplay. Smile

How to do a good teamwork? I suggest that you and your team/squad have a communication device such as microphone or headset (wired recommended), and don’t forget to practice a lot with your team (if you belong in a guild or something), practice always makes perfect. And Make sure that you have a leader in your team/squad to organize and command the operation.
Plus: Try to have a short briefing to divide tasks/jobs/objectives before the game starts and try to stick together while you are in the battlefield unless your leader tells you or your teammate to flank or do another job.

2. Kids should learn their kits
Kopassus
Of course you can’t make your sniper/recon to do the assaulters job (even if you can, come on…) Learn the basics of your kit especially if you are new in first-person shooting game. In every first-person shooting game, you will have to choose your role in the battlefield. You can become those who fight in the frontline, or the one who heals your teammate, destroy some armored vehicle, drive a tank, or the one who stays back to watch the fight and shoot from afar. Eventhough the description of jobs/roles in some first-person shooting game seems useless, try to read it first before you choose one. They are not there for nothing. Open-mouthed smile Visit the forum of your game that you are playing to discuss further about the roles in that game.
Plus: If you are new to first-person shooting game, try to be a fighter/assaulter who fights in the frontline.
Every game has different types of roles differentiation!

3. Patience ladies
This part sometimes is neglected by some gamers. Seriously, don’t rush and run around the field, throw grenades everywhere, or think that you have activated the infinite ammo! Being patient is one crucial thing to have if you are playing first-person shooting game. Imagine if the battlefield is real, if you can’t stay calm, think your strategies, and communicate with others, you’ll be just as good as dead and there will be no ‘Spawn Here’ button anymore. Save your grenades later for useful moment (don’t use it to ‘check-if-anyone-is-there’) because there is always a cooling time after you throw your grenade to change to other weapon, and there is always a chance that an enemy will pop-up from nowhere, and what will you do to blow a tank without any explosives left? Watch your surroundings and don’t run in the open field without knowing that your enemy knows that you are running like an idiot (easier to read: enemy sees you).
Plus: Follow your leader and do as he/she commands.

4. Aim, Fire!
Well, you cannot do this in Counter Strike, anyways if the game that you are playing allows you to aim with your iron sight or other attachment, use it when you encounter the enemy. In some cases you might have to fire from the hip (example: you suddenly meet your enemy in front of you) to make sure that you hit him first, because aiming takes time. Aim before firing is very useful because you will have a more accurate shooting better than firing from the hip.image3723
Plus: If possible, crouch while shooting.

5. Save, Reload, Upgrade
Fully-upgraded-weapon-IM-SO-FUCKING-PROTry to save your ammo by not holding the fire button too long because it’ll be a waste unless your teammates need a covering fire. It’ll be a problem if you are out of ammo in the middle of battle.
Reload your gun, don’t wait until zero. If you are not engaging an enemy or after killing an enemy, make sure to reload to ready your self for the next target because you will need it. Don’t die while reloading.
Upgrade your weapon, ammo, and armor if possible.
Plus: Don’t ever think that if you have better equipment means you are better than anyone else. Skills needed!

6. Have fun gaming Open-mouthed smile
Last but not least, please have fun while you are playing. It is very important to keep your emotion stable. Stable emotion helps you to think clearly about strategies and avoid conflict with other players (especially with teammates). Do not call other people n00b just because they are not helpful. Everybody is learning, and everyone has their own differences of experience in gaming.
Plus: Games are made to be fun!

Yep, and that’s all for the guide in first-person shooter multiplayer mode from. And let me explain again that these guides and tips are from my experience in playing first-person shooter multiplayer mode from various kinds of games. Any comments and corrections are accepted while they are accepted as well.

That’s all for today, I think I want to play Metal Assault. It’s such a fun and great game from Aeira Games. I will give you the review about Metal Assault later in the future when they released the full version. I’ll see you in the next review! Smile

Have fun gaming guys!
