Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Hi, how are you guys? It's me Motion Ape from Motion Games Review. I know it's been a very long time I haven't update my own blog. So, this time I will review you the best FPS game that I've ever played! Hope you enjoy!

Who doesn't know about the Battlefield franchise?
Every FPS lovers of course knows this game.
Battlefield was first started as the Battlefield 1942 on September 10, 2002 in the set of World War II.

But later in March 2010, the Battlefield franchise, which is from Electronic Arts, released the newest squad-based first-person-shooter version of Battlefield, Battlefield: Bad Company 2. The version is the sequel from the first Bad Company. The setting that they take is around the Southern America, and the main characters are still the same; Private Preston Marlowe, Private Terrance "Sweets" Sweetwater, Private George "Hags" Haggard Junior, and Sergeant Samuel"Sarge" Redford. The game is not only about the Singleplayer gameplay, but there is also an intense Multiplayer gameplay that players can join from all around the world.

Singleplayer Gameplay
The main character that the players going to control is Private Preston Marlowe. He works with his other 3 companions which work as a squad; Sweets, Hags, and Sarge. The task that they have to do in their “last” mission is to find out the Russian scalar weapon behind the enemy lines in Russia, but what they found is the ‘dummy’ of the scalar weapon. They bring it back to Army General Braidwood, and he tells them that it is a fake. He assigns them to meet Agent Aguire to Bolivia which means their retirement is postponed… again!

Multiplayer Gameplay
Players cannot make their own server regarding to the ranking system. Players have to register their account via online by submitting their serial code from the game that they buy. When joining the multiplayer gameplay, players can choose some dedicated servers around the world. Inside the game, players will be assigned to whether as the USMC or the Russian Army. There are 4 types of multiplayer gameplay for PC version and 1 extra-new type for the console (Onslaught Gameplay). The basic 4 types that are available in PC are Rush, Conquest, Squad Deathmatch, and Squad Rush.

Rush
This gameplay is my favorite multiplayer mode. In the game, you will have to choose between Attacker or Defender (well, actually it’s random, but you can still change your division). The Attacker’s job is to destroy the Defender’s M-COM stations. Each part of the map contains 2 M-COM. Defender, on the other side and obviously, has to defend their M-COM until Attackers’ tickets turn to zero. Some other warfare such as tanks, helicopters, UAV, etc, are available, but not each map provides the warfare features to make sure that the gameplay is balanced.

Conquest

This gameplay, which I rarely join in to, is the same mode as the original Battlefield franchise. The task of both side are is to capture as many flags as possible until their opponent’s tickets turn to zero. There are combat features such as tanks, boats, UAV, etc, that players can use to make the war more realistic and more dynamic.

Squad Deathmatch
In this gameplay, you will be fighting another 3 squads with each squad consists of 4 members. You will have to work as a team to achieve the highest score to win the game. There are a warfare feature that will make things easier for you.

Squad Rush
Almost the same like Rush mode, but in this mode you will fight as a squad vs. squad. So it's all about 4 vs. 4 (maximum). The differences are that there is only 1 M-COM station each part of the field and there will be only 2 layer of battle that Attacker and Defender have to fight.

Graphics
The graphic in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is beyond your imagination. The terrain and the objects are detail. The bullet effect, the wind, and the explosion are realistic. The great thing about this game is that you can blow anything (except mountain). You can make a hole in a house or even demolish it to the ground. A tank can walk through and destroy trees. I really love the look of this game. It's a realistic game. And of course, we cannot forget how snipers can use the environment for camouflage.

Sound
Zing! Boom! That's just how war's like. EA Games really put an effort to this. They created a sound environment that is similar to the real war. You can hear bullets fired from afar (which sounds echo!). The sound is really realistic. From the bullets, explosive, tank and car machine, and just everything.

Overall, this game is just the best First-Person-Shooting game I have every played. The singleplayer gameplay is very good, and multiplayer is adrenaline rusher. I am sure that you would love how the graphic looks like and how you can just blow up a house with your grenade or you grenade launcher.. or even RPG, or... do it over a Blackhawk Helicopter. Try the game, and feel the real war.
This is Motion Ape from Motion Game loggin' out! See ya later! =D
